THE RED HOUSE
The Red House is a contemporary British restaurant with a fabulous
modern design, in a totally unique location. The owners have transformed
what was previously an ordinary public house into a sumptuous
restaurant. They have constructed a 2-storey glass extension using
the same glass technology as the ‘Gherkin’ Swiss Re
building in London, and this allows the restaurant to stay cool
in the summer and warm in the winter. It also allows for fantastic
views across the River Dee and the Meadows.
The garden has also been transformed with decking pods and grass
that leads down to the River Dee, with customers able to arrive
by boat if they wish. Some customers have remarked that The Red
House is a little bit of Chelsea in Cheshire – and it certainly
has the WOW factor.
The food is also designed to impress, with modern British classics
on the daytime menu, and an a la arte menu that shows off the
full capabilities of the talented head chef. Menus change on a
frequent basis, so you should be able to enjoy a different dish
every time that you visit. Even if you only want to enjoy a drink
and see, and be seen, then you will be more than welcome.
